The Senior Network Engineer serves as the technical lead for the company's network infrastructure, managing complex initiatives across LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, security, and cloud networking environments. This role provides expert-level support for critical issues, mentors junior engineers, collaborates with architecture and security teams, and drives network strategy through technology evaluation, standards development, and technical leadership

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, data center, and cloud networking.
  • Develop and maintain network architecture standards, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex network incidents, driving rapid diagnosis and resolution of critical issues.
  • Lead network infrastructure projects, including site deployments, technology migrations, and major upgrades from planning through implementation.
  • Own the design, administration, and continuous improvement of the enterprise Network Access Control (NAC) platform, including authentication, policy enforcement, and systems integration.
  • Design and support Azure networking solutions, including hybrid connectivity, network security, and cloud infrastructure services.
  • Manage network performance, capacity planning, and vendor relationships to ensure reliability, scalability, and service quality.
  • Mentor network engineering staff and participate in on-call support and maintenance activities for critical network operations.

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Additional experience and/or technical training may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in network engineering, with demonstrated expertise in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Advanced certifications (e.g., HPE Juniper, Cisco CCNP, Palo Alto PCNSE, AZ-700, SD-WAN vendor certifications) are strongly preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license may be required, along with a driving record that meets the requirements of the company’s insurance provider
