Each day, CCS creates and distributes millions of statements, confirmations, invoices, checks, and other important documents on behalf of its customers. Key to its success is an innovative technology platform and an array of print output solutions, including offset, digital, and wide format.

Position Overview

Content Critical Solutions has an opportunity for an AI-focused Contractor or Intern to evaluate our current technology and business environment and help design and implement AI-driven workflows that improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and speed.

This role will focus on practical, applied AI, not academic theory. The successful candidate will work closely with CCS leadership, developers, and operational teams to identify automation opportunities, make actionable recommendations, and build working AI solutions where appropriate.

This role is well suited for:

  • An AI contractor with hands-on implementation experience
  • A graduate-level intern
  • A strong undergraduate or summer intern with applied AI or data automation skills

Requirements

  • Evaluate CCS’s current technical and business workflows to identify opportunities for:
    • Automation
    • Error reduction
    • Cycle-time improvement
    • Knowledge capture and documentation
  • Make clear, practical recommendations for AI usage aligned with CCS’s business, security, and compliance requirements
  • Design and build AI-enabled workflows, which may include:
    • Task automation
    • Data validation and enrichment
    • Intelligent document processing
    • AI-assisted development or support workflows
  • Assist with proof-of-concept development and iterative improvements
  • Work with developers and subject-matter experts to understand existing systems and processes
  • Ensure solutions are:

Requirements:

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong interest or experience in applied AI, automation, or intelligent systems
  • Experience with or exposure to:
    • Python (preferred), JavaScript (preferred), MS SQL Server (preferred)
    • AI/ML frameworks or APIs
    • Workflow automation concepts
  • Ability to understand real-world business processes and translate them into technical solutions
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Experience working with:
    • Enterprise data (files, databases, structured/unstructured data)
