Job Summary:
Lucayan Technology Solutions LLC is a Veteran Owned Small Business offering integrated Information Technology solutions. The Cloud Developer will design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-based applications and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design and build secure, scalable, and resilient cloud applications and services.
โ€ข Deploy and manage solutions across platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
โ€ข Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid deployment.
โ€ข Apply cloud architecture best practices, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), microservices, and serverless computing.
โ€ข Implement cloud security measures such as IAM (Identity & Access Management), encryption, and network protections.
โ€ข Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, conduct assessments, and maintain documentation.
โ€ข Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, cost efficiency, and availability.
โ€ข Collaborate with IT teams to integrate cloud solutions into enterprise systems.
โ€ข Provide technical support and knowledge sharing to staff and faculty on cloud platforms.
โ€ข Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, tools, and security standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Active Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain).
โ€ข Certifications (minimum one): CompTIA Security+ CE or higher DoD-approved cybersecurity certification, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, ServiceNow CSA or CAD (if supporting ServiceNow cloud systems).
โ€ข 3+ years in cloud development, deployment, and infrastructure management.
โ€ข Strong knowledge of cloud computing principles, networking, and cybersecurity.
โ€ข Experience with automation tools, DevOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
โ€ข Programming proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
โ€ข Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless computing.
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience working in DoD or other federal IT environments.
โ€ข Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171, DFARS, or CMMC compliance frameworks.
โ€ข Demonstrated success optimizing cloud resources for cost efficiency.
