A clock repair technician specializes in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of clocks, including antique, mechanical, and modern timepieces. Their work involves cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, and replacing parts such as gears, springs, and pendulums to ensure clocks function accurately. They may also restore damaged or worn clock cases and faces, and offer advice on proper care and maintenance. Some technicians work independently, while others are employed by jewelry or specialty clock shops.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a clock repair technician?

To excel as a Clock Repair Technician, you need strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a background in horology or related technical training.
