Job description

Multi-Craft Technician $36.79/hr. + $1.00/hr. Shift Differential for Off-shift Hours

Who we are looking for:
We are currently searching for a Clipper Tie Operator to be based out of Hebron, OH. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this person will be responsible for running a clip gun, loading magazines, and clipping coil loops together in a line along with wire tie operation and packaging.
What you'll do:
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
  • Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
  • Maintains time and productions records
  • Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments
  • Studies production and operation schedules and confers with other staff and with maintenance personnel to determine when planned maintenance will least interfere with daily operations.
  • Plans and coordinates schedule of preventive maintenance for equipment, machinery, tools, or building.
  • Reviews manufactures' service Manuals, usage schedules, and records of maintenance problems to determine optimum frequency of preventive maintenance.
  • Supervises the installation of electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in installing, inspecting, testing, repairing, adjusting, and calibrating.
  • Writing and updating policies and procedures.

What you'll bring:
  • Fifth year college or university program certificate, 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Lean concept sustainment & problem-solving skills.
  • Safety action orientated.
  • Flexibility of shift schedule including overtime and weekends.
  • Must have an outgoing positive attitude, be a team player and have a strong work ethic.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally team lift more than 50 pounds. Be able to push and pull extremely heavy loads using leverage tools.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $35.55/hr. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
