Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Science Hiring Manager with a strong track record of hiring for research laboratories, clinical trial teams, and bench-based scientific environments. This role requires deep understanding of laboratory workflows, scientific roles, regulatory requirements, and the unique talent needs of research and clinical organizations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience partnering with scientists, clinicians, and lab leadership to recruit technical and scientific talent ranging from bench scientists to clinical research professionals. This role ensures hiring processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with both scientific rigor and organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Technical & Scientific Hiring Strategy
    • Own end-to-end hiring strategy for research, clinical, and laboratory-based roles
    • Partner with R&D, Lab Directors, and Clinical Operations to understand technical and scientific staffing needs
    • Translate experimental, clinical, and operational requirements into effective role definitions
    • Plan hiring aligned with research milestones, clinical trial timelines, and lab capacity
  • Lab & Clinical Role Expertise
    • Hire across bench and lab-adjacent roles, including:
      • Research Scientists and Principal Scientists
      • Bench Scientists and Research Associates
      • Lab Managers and Lab Technicians
      • Clinical Research Associates (CRAs)
      • Clinical Trial Managers and Coordinators
      • Translational, preclinical, and clinical research roles
    • Understand bench-lab workflows such as:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in technical or scientific hiring roles
  • Demonstrated experience hiring for:
  • Research laboratories (academic or industry)
  • Bench-based scientific teams
