Position: PRN Outpatient Services Coordinator

Location: Baltimore, MD

Hourly Rate: $18-$20 Per hour

Job Overview:

As the PRN Outpatient Services Coordinator, you are responsible for performing the initial informed consent process with potential study subjects, collecting study-specific data as part of the screening process, completing outpatient study visits, conducting check in procedures on admission subjects.

We are conveniently located on the University of Maryland BioPark campus and provide paid parking for all employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow Good Clinical Practices (GCPs) and adhere to Pharmaron CPC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with departments to prepare required documentation for study screenings.
  • Screen potential participants to ensure study understanding and verify eligibility against protocol criteria.
  • Administer initial informed consent and explain study details to potential participants.
  • Review medical history and assess eligibility based on inclusion and exclusion criteria.
  • Confirm demographic information and assist with protocol-required screening tests.
  • Respond to participant questions and complete all required screening documentation.
  • Perform clinical procedures such as vital signs, height/weight measurements, and ECGs.
  • Log subject information and update participant records in ClinSpark.
  • Conduct follow-up visits for study participants in outpatient settings and conduct admission procedures for all study participants.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of collected study data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

What We're Looking For:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree, preferably in biological science, nursing or other allied health profession.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Project Manager, Clinical Research Coordinator and Research Associates
