These scientists perform laboratory tests and analyses to help diagnose, treat, and prevent diseases, but their work schedule is flexible and determined by the lab’s staffing needs. Per diem positions are ideal for those seeking flexibility or supplementary income, as hours can vary week to week. Clinical Lab Scientists must be licensed and qualified, and they play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely laboratory results.
