Job description

Job Summary:
The Perioperative Clinical Data Analyst will provide analytical/clinical support and report writing for all business and quality-related activities within the Perioperative Services as indicated, including budget preparation, financial processing and tracking, and monthly Perioperative statistics. Liaison with the other perioperative managers. Work with EPIC system managers and perioperative managers to ensure that the data tracked is accurate. Provide support for data extraction and interpretation, and report building within EPIC, Kronos, Business Objects, Tableau, and other platforms as determined based on work being done.
Minimum Qualifications:
NYS licensed/registered RN (or eligible), Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a minimum of three years in perioperative nursing. Excellent written, oral communication, and organizational skills and strong problem-solving abilities required. CPR-BLS certification required by time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills. Strong experience with EPIC, Microsoft Office products, and other healthcare technology platforms. Experience collaborating with IT on healthcare technology solutions. Master's degree in Nursing Informatics preferred.
