Are you an experienced arborist with a passion for tree care and climbing? Arbor Bay Tree Service is seeking a skilled Climbing Arborist to join our professional tree service team. If you’re dedicated to safety, precision, and excellence, we want to hear from you!


Responsibilities:

  • Climb trees to perform pruning and removal on residential and commercial properties, strictly following ANSI standards as an experienced arborist.
  • Execute expert tree service using species-specific pruning practices and company guidelines to ensure optimal tree health and appearance.
  • Perform precise pruning cuts and skilled rigging techniques for safe and efficient tree service, including complex removals and maintenance.
  • Ensure meticulous clean-up at every job site, maintaining the high standards of our tree service and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Safely operate and maintain all tools and equipment, including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and climbing gear, essential for professional arborists.
  • Learn and adhere to all safety rules and company safety policies, ensuring a secure work environment for the entire tree service team.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional tree climbing experience with proven expertise as an climbing arborist.
  • Demonstrated climbing skills using advanced rope systems, knowledge of knots, and proficiency in chainsaw and chipper operation for effective tree service.
  • In-depth knowledge of tree species and proper pruning practices, ensuring each tree service task is performed to industry standards.
  • Highly skilled in rigging and lowering techniques for safe tree pruning and removals, a crucial skill for any climbing arborist.
  • Familiarity with cabling and bracing methods in accordance with ANSI standards, maintaining the safety and integrity of trees.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record, ensuring reliable transportation to various tree service locations.
