What You'll Do Day-To-Day
  • Ensures effective performance on moderately complex to complex engineering assignments.  
  • Plans and directs the timely execution of engineering activities within assigned cost center(s).  
  • Ensures projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards.  
  • Develops and/or administers organization engineering standards and procedures for the group.  
  • Provides goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members.  
  • Ensures development and training of team members to optimize task results.  
  • Works interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships.  
  • Researches and assesses best practices, proposing methods and improvements.  
  • Works on special projects, as directed.   
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
    • Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted. 
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.  
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all  levels of staff, management and customers as required.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills.  
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates.  
  • Strong analytical ability and problem identification/problem resolution skills.  
  • Advanced level of specific software tools (CAD, FEA, CFD) and programming skills.
  • Experience with NSSS repairs and replacement.
  • Knowledgeable of primary component fabrication.
  • Familiarity with ASME code.

  • Salary: $133,000 - $181,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
