As a Software Architect, you will define the technical direction of our software platforms while helping shape how generative AI and agentic AI capabilities are embedded into our products to solve real customer problems.

What you will do

  • Define and evolve the architecture of scalable, secure, and high-performance software systems.
  • Design end-to-end software solutions, ensuring seamless integration across services, platforms, and infrastructure.
  • Lead the architecture and design of distributed systems, cloud-native services, APIs, databases, event-driven systems, and AI-powered applications.
  • Design and deliver production-ready generative AI and agentic AI capabilities that enhance products, automate workflows, and create measurable business value.
  • Partner with engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical designs and architectural solutions.
  • Establish and promote software engineering standards, design patterns, coding guidelines, and best practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools to support current and future business needs.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship through architecture reviews, design reviews, and code reviews.
  • Identify technical risks, architectural bottlenecks, and scalability challenges, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure software architecture aligns with security, performance, reliability, maintainability, and business objectives.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies, models, and engineering approaches, identifying opportunities to responsibly integrate them into our products and engineering practices.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of professional software development experience, including experience designing software architecture for complex applications.
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end software solutions from architecture and design through implementation and production deployment.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented software design principles.
  • Demonstrated experience designing scalable, distributed, and cloud-based software systems.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, APIs, relational and NoSQL databases, messaging systems, and system integration.
  • Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
  • Experience building applications on cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership across development teams.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, with a desire to continuously learn and apply modern engineering practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and observability tools.
  • Experience designing agentic AI architectures, autonomous workflows, and AI-driven automation solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate emerging technologies and engineering tools, champion adoption of best practices, and mentor engineering teams on modern software development approaches.
  • Familiarity with modern AI frameworks and orchestration platforms such as AWSAgentCore,OpenAI Agents SDK or equivalent technologies.
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments.
  • Experience building AI, machine learning, or data-intensive applications is considered an asset.

Language Requirements

French-English bilingualism is required.

In addition to fluency in French, successful candidates must have full professional proficiency in English in order to support and collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or various stakeholders.
