What You’ll Be Doing…

We are seeking a Business Analyst to lead our business intelligence transformation at Fenner Precision Polymers.  The business analyst will partner closely with the BI Architect to develop and maintain Power BI reporting and additional BI support across the Fenner Polymers business lines. The role partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Finance, and IT to translate business questions into governed Power BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Decision Support

  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate questions into clear analytical requirements.
  • Analyze trends, drivers, and variances to deliver actionable insights to leadership.
  • Support operational and financial performance reviews through standardized dashboards and scorecards.

Business Intelligence & Analytics

  • Build dashboards and reports primarily using Power BI in alignment with established standards and governance processes
  • Integrate and validate data from ERP and other sources.
  • Automate recurring reports and provide self‑service analytics.
  • Develop advanced DAX measures, including complex filter context logic and time intelligence.
  • Define, document, and standardize KPI and metric logic to ensure consistent interpretation across teams.

Cross-Functional & Operational Support

  • Act as a liaison between business teams and IT/BI partners on analytics and reporting initiatives.
  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to drive performance improvements.
  • Provide walkthroughs and enablement to support adoption and effective use of BI tools
  • Provide backup to other Finance team members and contribute to projects.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Advanced Power BI developer skills (Report building, data model creation, Advanced Dax)
  • Strong SQL knowledge
  • Experience in JD Edwards ERP preferred
