Project Support Associate

Location: Albany, NY
Pay Rate: $25-$30 per hour
Type: Full-Time | Onsite | Non-Exempt

Position Overview

Our professional, service-oriented client is seeking a detail-focused Project Support Associate to provide administrative, customer service, and project coordination support within a collaborative office environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing client interaction with behind-the-scenes operational support and thrives in a structured, fast-paced setting.

The Project Support Associate plays a key role in supporting sales, operations, and project workflows while ensuring a positive experience for customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
  • Enter and track incoming product orders within internal systems
  • Review vendor order confirmations and investigate discrepancies
  • Assist with customer warranty requests and issue resolution
  • Support front office operations, including greeting visitors and maintaining common areas
  • Generate proposals and track customer orders from initiation through completion
  • Assist with scheduling activities and follow up with clients after project installation
  • Collect and organize information from prospective clients to support sales efforts
  • Provide support with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks
  • Assist with general project coordination and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of one year of relevant administrative, customer service, or project support experience
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
