Arcana Analytics

New York, NY • On-site

Full-time

Job description

Arcana is a portfolio intelligence platform used by hedge funds and asset managers to analyze performance, risk, and portfolio exposures. We're rethinking the analytical infrastructure institutional investors rely on-and we're hiring driven problem solvers who want to help shape the future of investment technology.
This is not a traditional client support role focused on scripted responses or ticket routing. Our Client Solutions / Support Associates work directly with sophisticated investment firms to help resolve analytical and operational issues, support onboarding and implementation workflows, and ensure clients are successful using Arcana's platform.
If you enjoy solving problems, working closely with institutional investors, and operating at the intersection of finance, analytics, and technology, we'd love to talk.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client questions, issues, and platform support requests
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client issues across portfolio analytics, data workflows, and platform functionality
  • Support onboarding and implementation projects for hedge funds and asset managers using Arcana's platform
  • Work closely with portfolio managers, analysts, operations teams, and risk teams to understand workflows and resolve analytical questions
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and data teams to investigate and escalate complex issues
  • Help improve internal support processes, documentation, and client workflows
  • Identify recurring client pain points and provide feedback to help improve platform capabilities and user experience
  • Clearly communicate solutions, platform functionality, and analytical concepts to institutional users

Requirements
  • 1-4 years of experience in a client-facing, analytical, operations, or support-oriented role within financial services, fintech, or investment technology
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple client requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ownership mentality
  • Comfort working with financial concepts, data workflows, and analytical platforms
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets, portfolio management, or investment technology
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, product managers, engineers, and data teams

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong academic performance preferred
  • Experience with Excel and analytical tools required
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, Aladdin, or similar financial platforms is a plus
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or other analytical/programming tools is beneficial but not required
  • Previous experience supporting institutional clients or enterprise software users is a plus
