At Freedom Boat Club, you can be a part of the world's largest and fastest growing boat club as we make life better one boat trip at a time. We believe that life is better on the water, and if you have a great attitude, strong customer service skills, and great time-management and organizational skills with a heart for administrative excellence, we would love to have you on our Freedom Dream Team! 

We are currently looking to hire an amazing team member to help serve our club members with excellence across our 11 locations in the Puget Sound, Lake Washington, and Lake Union. The position is fast paced, fun, and incredibly dynamic, with pay starting at $20 per hour. In addition to interacting with our members, you will have the opportunity to develop your administrative excellence as you answer calls and respond to emails, and much more, at this full-time position (with benefits that include an employee boating membership)!

QUALIFICATIONS/RESPONSIBILITES:

ยท Strong Customer Service 

ยท High school diploma or GED equivalent

ยท Must be at least 18 years old

ยท Administrative experience preferred

ยท Professional demeanor and attitude

ยท Familiarity with office organization techniques

ยท Well-organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task

ยท Excellent communication and time-management skills

ยท Proficient with Microsoft Office/Google Business Suite/Familiar with MacBook (or willingness/enthusiasm to learn all these things)

ยท Boating experience or love for boating is a plus 

ยท Have a personal mobile device for company communication apps (Slack, ADP, etc.)

ยท Ability to maintain a calm, positive attitude during periods of high activity

ยท Highly effective communication skills and friendly customer service are required

ยท Must be a self-starter and capable of working without direct supervision

ยท High attention to detail

ยท Maintain a clean work area

ยท Always operate with an emphasis on member hospitality

ยท Adhere to all safety and general company policies

ยท Maintain a cooperative, team attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees

ยท Respond to member calls and emails, and direct inquiries to the appropriate dock/department

ยท Assist with the maintenance of the reservation system (front and back end) among other proprietary and ancillary systems

ยท Compile data and prepare reports, as well as other various emergent tasks 

ยท Assist members and staff with all reservation system questions, questions regarding club policy, and general tech help
