Knights of Columbus Asset Advisors is seeking a full-time Client Service & Operations Associate to join our growing team in our Boston, or New Haven location. This individual will have specialized knowledge and skills, obtained through experience and/or formal training, to assist and support our institutional and marketing team. The candidate should have a strong operational background, especially when it comes to client onboarding. They will be expected to provide solutions to problems with extensive contact with our Operations team, internal business partners, as well as various custodians. Additionally, they will help to facilitate and execute sales and marketing initiatives, manage client reporting, provide assistance with onboarding and maintaining our financial intermediary partners, while ensuring accurate CRM data management and support across platforms.

Core Responsibilities
  • Builds relationships with clients and shareholders, our Operations team, Compliance, Portfolio Managers, Sales and Marketing team, as well as other internal and external business partners by delivering exceptional proactive service
  • Onboards new client relationships through correspondence, reports, custodial paperwork, new account paperwork, and advisory agreements
  • Services existing client relationships (including calls, meetings, corresponding, and addressing requests as well as processing money and asset movements, and ad hoc requests) with the highest level of service and prompt follow-up with the client
  • Helps to prepare and provide documentation and materials required for client calls and visits
  • Is the key liaison between Operations and Client Service/Sales. Has a strong operational skillset working with custodial websites and onboarding documentation (i.e. Fidelity), has experience with a Portfolio Reporting System (Advent APX)
  • Works with Sales, Client Service, Investments and Compliance to determine best methods to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction in a courteous and professional manner
  • Understands performance and how it is calculated and how to troubleshoot
  • May participate in investment reviews and annual reviews
  • Provide sales support which includes financial intermediaries, consultants, shareholders, clients, platforms, and other key partners
  • Manage and continuously improve the client reporting process, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and accuracy
  • Performs other duties and special projects as required, including firm-wide initiatives

Compensation The wage range for this role takes into account a broad array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The range below applies as long as the work is performed in Connecticut; the Knights of Columbus reserves the right to adjust the wage range if the position is performed in another location. At the Knights of Columbus, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $58,500 - $99,500.

Education BA or BS degree

3-7 years of experience in financial services, with a strong background in Operations and Client Service

Knowledge of Advent APX, Microsoft Dynamics, and Fidelity documentation a plus

Physical Demands Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a majority of the workday.
