Job description

Location: Brentwood, TN (Hybrid)


What We Need


Corpay is seeking a Fleet Advisor to join our NA Fuel division within the Comdata line of business. In this role, you will support customer needs by handling day-to-day client inquiries through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels. Client loyalty is the primary focus and measure of success.


As a Fleet Advisor, you will create a reliable customer experience by anticipating client needs, resolving issues quickly, and maximizing the value of Corpay products and services. You will serve as a client advocate and trusted advisor while collaborating with internal teams to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.


This role reports to the Supervisor of Account Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships and loyalty.
  • Manage customer inquiries through inbound and outbound communications.
  • Resolve customer issues through one-call resolution whenever possible.
  • Troubleshoot and research account, billing, reconciliation, and product-related concerns.
  • Proactively contact clients to prevent service disruptions and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct planned and unplanned outreach activities to support retention efforts.
  • Activate Corpay products and services and provide customer guidance.
  • Recommend best practices to maximize customer value and product utilization.
  • Train customers via phone and web-based sessions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for complex customer issues.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal departments to resolve client needs.
  • Complete proactive outreach through Gameplan to support retention and account management efforts.
  • Develop expertise in Corpay products, systems, and processes.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; some college preferred.
  • 1+ year of customer service or customer retention experience.
  • 1+ year of high-volume call center experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and issue-resolution abilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with empathy and professionalism.
  • Ability to learn new systems, products, and processes quickly.
  • Basic computer proficiency with typing speed of 30+ WPM.
