Manager, Client Finance

Location: New York Hybrid Role

Division/Department: Client Finance

Reports to Position: Associate Director, Client Finance

This position acts as the relationship and account manager for all components of the client nancial life cycle. This role is highly hands-on and facilitative; one that requires a combination of analysis and project management, as well as a willingness to play an active, internal and client facing, role. This role reports to the Associate Director and has duciary responsibility for their portfolio of clients.

Main Responsibilities:

35% Client Budgets

o Own and manage the client nance tracker to:

Ensure authorized budgets are received from clients and verify plans are accurately entered into our media buying systems

Conduct monthly variance analysis between authorized/planned, purchased,

and billed activity

Track pacing of campaigns and address discrepancies

o Validate compliance of contractual obligations

o Identify solutions to accommodate client requests

20% Project Manage Order to Cash Cycle

o Create and maintain the client deliverable calendar and work with internal teams to ensure key dates are met

o Steward the client's budget through the lifecycle, inclusive of:

Quality control of media buys (product names, PO's, I/O's, system set up, etc.)

Partner with cross-functional internal groups to educate teams on best practices

within media buying systems

o Ensure buys are updated, approved, and reconciled on time

o Proactively review receivables to identify any unpaid balances that could result in media disruptions and work with accounts payable to ensure partners are paid timely

20% Client Management

o Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and serve as their primary nance contact at the agency

o Prepare and lead monthly nance status calls with clients to review the overall nancial health of the account and address any concerns

o Align on year-end deadlines and ensure all requests are delivered timely

o Provide ad hoc client reporting & support external audits

20% Internal Client Management

o Support the implementation of sound business management policies and practices

o Contribute to monthly managing partner status calls being led by Client Finance

o Prepare and issue burn reports

o Participate in the ash, forecasting, and budgeting processes, where applicable

o Update Client Questionnaires ("CQ") as necessary, and ensure information is properly

captured within our media buying systems

o Provide ad hoc reporting & support internal audits

5% Continue to identify areas of improvement/eciency

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Strong analytical, project management and Excel skills are required, as well as the ability to speak to nancial concepts. Previous knowledge of a standard media billing process and the media industry is preferred.

Salary Range

$66,300.00 - $95,000.00

A successful applicant's actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual's skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
