Job Title: Legal Administrative Assistant
Location: Boston, MA

Position Summary:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to attorneys and staff. This role involves managing communications, coordinating case assignments, handling legal correspondence, and performing key administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk & Client Relations:
    • Professionally answer, screen, and route phone calls from attorneys and clients
    • Greet visitors and maintain a welcoming office environment
  • Case Management Support:
    • Assign new cases to attorneys and track status updates
    • Organize and maintain physical and digital case files
  • Legal Correspondence & Documentation:
    • Draft, proofread, and distribute legal correspondence and documents
    • Process mailings (both traditional mail and email distributions)
    • Handle sensitive documents with confidentiality
  • Administrative Operations:
    • Perform word processing and data entry tasks
    • File, scan, copy, and redact legal documents as needed
    • Assist with scheduling and calendar management

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required (Associate's degree or legal coursework preferred)
  • 1+ years of experience in a law office or professional administrative role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment
