Job description

Based in Tampa, FL with 15 offices across the country, we are a multi-practice commercial law firm with international affiliates known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The firm is expanding and seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join our Construction Law and Litigation practice handling sophisticated multi-party construction defect cases. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator who values courtroom work client relationships and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to construction litigation and multi-party construction defect matters
  • Draft pleadings motions discovery requests memoranda of law and related litigation documents with accuracy and efficiency
  • Represent clients in depositions hearings mediations trials and other construction litigation proceedings
  • Manage client relations and communications while collaborating with senior attorneys on complex or high-exposure matters


Qualifications

  • JD from an ABA-approved law school with excellent academic credentials and an active Florida Bar license in good standing
  • 3+ years of litigation experience (construction litigation experience highly preferred)
  • Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
  • Superior legal research and writing skills with excellent attention to detail and proficiency with document review platforms preferred
