JOB SUMMARY:
As directed by Management, work with Equipment Managers to improve critical business processes that drive Client fleet optimization and successful financial impact/results for Empire and Clients. Serve as liaison between Clients, Empire Sales team and Operations. Maintain Client satisfaction with all engagements and communicate all activities to the appropriate Sales Managers and Operations Directors.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Develop and maintain effective internal partner relationships and relationships with major customers to achieve desired Asset Management objectives.
  • Co-Lead projects where the subject focus and solutions are moderately complex in nature, availability, and attainability.
  • Provide support to Client Project Manager II.
  • Identify technology opportunities within the Client, Empire and Cat systems.
  • Track project status and results; remove and alleviate project barriers.
  • Establish work plan for each phase of project.
  • Prepare project reports for management and Clients.
  • Maintain understanding of the Caterpillar and Dealer technology.
  • Confer with project personnel (internal & external) to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
  • Keep management updated on all assigned projects.
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
  • Create an environment of ownership and personal accountability where each person is responsible and accountable for their performance.
  • Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures and standards.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Convey and/or absorb information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages an audience and helps them understand, retain, and utilize the concepts provided.
  • Facilitate the completion of team goals.
  • Identify present and potential troublesome situations and their causes. Investigate to a level that reveals total impact of the situation. Identify trends and patterns and develop measures to solve or prevent repeat occurrence.
  • Understand client requirements, define/understand processes, and their effectiveness, efficiency and adaptability; ability to take a systematic view of activities from a broad perspective; analyze processes; establish a vision for optimization.
  • Encourage individuals to seek opportunities for different and innovative approaches to addressing problems and opportunities. Facilitate the implementation and acceptance of change within the workplace.
  • Collect and research data, synthesizes complex or diverse information. Read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Work within and promote corporate values.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to effectively perform public speaking presentations and written communications skills.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to perform statistical analysis on systems and projects
  • Must have advanced computer skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
  • Ability to apply mathematical operations to tasks such as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity analysis.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully.
  • Ability to develop alternative solutions and workable implementation plans.
  • Ability to develop strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Must be able to meet all safety requirements for applicable safety policies and use of all required safety equipment.
  • Must have acceptable attendance to meet all company standards and requirements.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Engineering or Business Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project management or process improvement.
  • A diverse knowledge of various organizational functions.
  • Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
