Job description

Project Manager
Twining, Inc., an innovative engineering, testing, and inspection Company is seeking a Project Manager for its operations in Sacramento and the Bay Area. This position will involve both technical oversite and project management. It is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to make an immediate impact and for a candidate looking to grow within the organization.
Responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring appropriately credentialed/experienced staff are utilized and in accordance with proposal/contract.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate testing/reporting are completed by lab and field staff.
  • Review of field and laboratory reports.
  • Documentation and handling of nonconformance items.
  • Accurate and timely billing.
  • Budget management, tracking, and produce change order requests.
  • Provide direction and technical assistance to field personnel.
  • Communication with all project team members and periodic site visits.
  • Proposal preparation for special inspection and materials testing services on projects.
  • Maintain chargeability goals.
  • Participating in sales related activities as requested by marketing and business development team. This includes but is not limited to participation in client presentations and short list interviews).
  • Regular client communication to ensure DSO of 80 days or less for all projects managed.
Required Competencies:
  • BS with an engineering emphasis preferred.
  • 5 Years of construction project management experience preferred.
  • Experience with overseeing materials testing and structural inspections highly desirable.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers, clients and potential clients.
