With over 19 offices across the U.S., the award-winning architecture + design firm specializes in K-12 through college/university, healthcare, sports, and corporate business sectors across the U.S. The company has won over 500 design awards and is recognized for shaping learning environments for students and the community. For over forty years, the multidisciplinary studio has created a client base of more than two hundred clients, a list that includes university systems, hospital systems, school districts, and Fortune 500 companies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Join a dynamic team as a Project Manager, where you'll lead the charge in overseeing architectural projects from inception to completion. Working closely with our talented team, including the Project Architect, you'll ensure the delivery of top-notch construction documents, adhering to our highest quality standards. Reporting to the Client Executive/Principal Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in keeping projects on track, on budget, and in line with the company's renowned client service ethos.
Your Impact:
  • Supervise and guide the Project Architect and project team to produce superior construction documents.
  • Ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion.
  • Coordinate and direct architectural and/or engineering teams for efficient project execution.
  • Mentor junior staff, providing oversight and support for their assignments.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive client relationships, keeping them informed of project progress.
  • Offer technical expertise to the project team.
  • Assist Client Executive and/or Principal Architect in work delegation and supervision.
  • Lead construction administration meetings on-site with contractors and owners.

Here's What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field (required), Architecture License (preferred).
  • 7+ years of professional experience (preferred). (Open to senior-level Project Managers with greater experience.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, consultants, and vendors.
  • California K-12 project experience (DSA) or higher education experience required.
  • Strong decision-making abilities, with a penchant for sound judgment and timely actions.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit; familiarity with SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suites is advantageous.
  • Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of building codes.
