Job description

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You donโ€™t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset โ€” who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be driving new service opportunities, working with both customers as well as internal stakeholders. You will interact hand-in-hand with senior stakeholders on opportunities to improve our service and delivery. You will work across customer organizations and multiple Snowflake teams to ensure customersโ€™ applications are well designed and scale to the needs of their business. Success is defined by the SDMs ability to develop a quality service strategy per customer, capture and report on key metrics, identify upsell opportunities and quickly become the clientโ€™s trusted advisor.

AS A SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, YOU WILL:

  • Be a project management expert on all aspects of the Snowflake implementation and variety of project and services types

  • Provide delivery quality oversight and guidance for Snowflake engagements by assisting in the creation and execution of the overall vision for service delivery and client satisfaction, ensuring adherence to delivery best practices

  • Own, manage and communicate the operational relationship with assigned clients, including the creation, implementation, and tracking of relationship roadmaps

  • Manage key client projects by communicating effectively with project team members, management and project stakeholders on status, issues, risks, and project goals and objectives through clear project documentation, meetings and any required follow-ups

  • Proactively provide input into the development of Practices' policies, procedures and standards

  • Integrate industry knowledge into practical configuration tactics, techniques and procedures to ensure teams deliver well-rounded and well-developed software solutions

  • Work with Services Delivery Practice Teams and Sales Account Teams to facilitate practice area enablement and support sales pursuits โ€“ scoping projects, estimating work, creating delivery proposals and providing regular delivery updates for ongoing projects

  • Work with Customers, System Integrators, and Technology Vendors on project pursuits, cadence and project progress

  • Provide guidance and a vision on how to resolve customer-specific project challenges, own escalations and high profile situations

  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflakeโ€™s products and marketing

  • Determine areas for process improvements within both the client and Snowflake

OUR IDEAL SERVICES DELIVERY MANAGER WILL HAVE:

  • 7+ years of experience in a Services Delivery role (or similar capacity) dealing with complex, technical implementation projects

  • Track record of delivering on PS revenue targets for a set of accounts, including the ability to prioritize multiple, complex projects and deliverables simultaneously (project management)

  • Direct experience in the Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and/or Cloud field

  • Ability to speak about the AI/ML model lifecycle specifically the trade-offs and architecture for delivering Gen AI and ML capabilities

  • Proven ability to communicate and translate effectively across multiple groups from design and engineering to marketing, advertising, and business development

  • Strong presentation skills and an ability to articulate to a business and technical audience (including senior level executives at large enterprises)

  • Bonus Points: Experience in a client support and advisory technical role (Solution architect, system administrator, technical account manager or equivalent).

WHY JOIN OUR SERVICES DELIVERY TEAM:

  • Unique opportunity to work on a truly disruptive software product

  • Get unique, hands-on experience with bleeding edge data warehouse technology

  • Develop, lead and execute an industry-changing initiative

  • Learn from the best! Join a dedicated, experienced team of professionals.
