Job Description
Unisoftech Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the implementation of the Immunization Registry and Information System (IRIS).

This role will manage project activities, coordinate with State stakeholders and vendors, track risks and issues, and ensure delivery is completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day project activities and milestones.
  • Serve as the liaison between State agencies and IT contractors.
  • Track scope, schedule, budget, testing, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prepare status reports, project plans, risk logs, and compliance artifacts.
  • Coordinate with PMO, IV&V, QA, and oversight teams.
  • Support change management, vendor management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Maintain project documentation and reporting updates.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing IT-related projects.
  • Experience leading at least 3 successful projects delivered on time and on budget.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and make project-level decisions.
  • Experience with PMI methodology and project management artifacts.

Preferred Experience:

  • Direct project experience managing or supporting a designated Major IT Development Project (MITDP) within a State Government framework is highly preferred and a significant plus
  • Proven track record of managing enterprise data tracking systems, immunization registries, or Immunization Information Systems (IIS).
  • Experience driving provider experience improvements, electronic health record (EHR) data interfaces, and maintaining compliance with federal funding requirements is highly
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, enterprise-level Case Management Systems or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms within a healthcare or social services environment. Familiarity with government assistance programs, grant-funded healthcare support systems, or infectious disease/pharmaceutical support programs is highly preferred.
