JobDescription: Support our Client Advisory team in all manners of client service, daily operations, and special projects, which can include coordinating client communications, overseeing operational and administrative workflows, and preparing performance analysis and client presentation material. Advisory positions are a career path lending to increased client engagements and complexity over time, while supporting Directors and Managing Directors across the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries, solving problems, and proactively meeting clients' needs. Communicate with clients directly via phone, zoom, and in-person meetings.
  • Provide support to a Client Advisory team in the communication and implementation of client investment strategies, while ensuring timely and effective coordination across the broader client service team to maintain alignment and a seamless client experience.
  • Prepare client documentation: draft letters of instruction, complete account applications, manager agreements, and fund subscription documents, organize supporting documentation, and follow the process through in tandem with the firm's Capital Markets Group.
  • Act as information provider to accountants, banks, investment managers, and other professionals also supporting clients.
  • Provide additional support in the quarterly reporting process, specifically in reconciling and otherwise reviewing client reports.
  • Act as a mentor and resource for Associates and Senior Associates on operational matters, such as recon, reporting, account opening/transfers, etc.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field is required (Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics).
  • 4 - 7+ years of experience in the financial management industry is required. CFP is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and client service skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and understands time-sensitive issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skill with PC and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Comfort speaking with clients and their other professional relationships concerning money movement, account openings, trades within accounts, and basic daily operations is a plus.
  • Shows a positive attitude and initiative in all aspects of the position, as well as demonstrates the ability to prioritize tasks in the face of competing demands.
  • Enjoys learning and growing and is motivated to take on new challenges.
  • Basic understanding of investments including mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and alternatives.
  • Familiarity with or hands-on experience using AI-powered productivity tools to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and work quality is strongly preferred.
