The Sierra-Cedar Higher Ed practice is looking for a motivated and experienced ORACLE FUSION CLOUD SFA/SFP Groovy and/or Java Technical Consultant (or Lead) with Oracle Cloud Student Financial Aid implementation experience) within a Higher Education institution. Implementation experience with Oracle Cloud SFA/SFP in the Higher Education field (such as a college or university) is strongly preferred and may be required. As a Lead, you will hold meetings on camera on a daily basis, and travel to client sites as needed during project milestones.

Sierra-Cedar helps Higher Education institutions - more than 350 of them - with the implementation of Oracle software.  Our business-savvy Lead Technical Consultants are responsible for implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud (SFA/SFP) and increasing the benefit of the Oracle software in which the client has invested.

You'll take a technical leadership role as you design, script, and enhance complex logic across Oracle Cloud SFA/SFP. Your work centers on building and increasing Java-like Groovybased rules/scripts, financialaid calculations, validations, and automation flows that drive core Oracle Fusion Cloud SFA/SFP processing. You will develop and refine logic for several business areas including ISIR evaluation, packaging, awarding, fund disbursement. Experience with Groovy, Java, SFA/SFP rule structures, version control (such as GIT) is strongly preferred. Your responsibilities include providing handson Groovy and Java development support, architecting rulebased solutions and advising on leading practice approaches for financialaid automation. You will contribute to solution strategy, recommend new technical approaches, and make sure that SFA/SFP configurations and custom logic align with federal regulations, institutional policies, and project requirements. Whether or not you manage a team, you will operate as a technical leader who stays at the forefront of emerging Oracle Cloud capabilities within Higher Education.

Our ideal Oracle Fusion Cloud SFA/SFP Groovy Technical Consultant has a bachelor's degree, hands-on technical implementation experience at a university or college, strong knowledge of Oracle products used by Higher Education institutions, and a desire to become part of a Higher Education-focused team within Sierra-Cedar.  Oracle Fusion Cloud certification is a huge plus!
