Vendor Integration Manager (Client calls it Manager of Fintech Integrations)

Their platform? An expansive ecosystem of ready-to-deploy tools and plug-and-play integrations. Their secret sauce? An APIfirst architecture and robust developer toolkit that lets financial institutions build smarter, move faster, and serve customers better wherever they are.
 

What you will be doing:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Fintech Integrations to lead a hybrid team of Project Managers and Technical Engineers. This team is responsible for enabling seamless connectivity between our platform and third-party fintech vendors through technologies such as SSO, RESTful APIs, and proprietary integration methods. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical acumen with leadership and project management skills to drive successful integrations and support the growth of our fintech ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support a hybrid team of engineers and project managers.
• Ensure team members have the tools, training, and support needed to succeed.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture.
• Define clear goals and expectations and support professional growth.
• Oversee the implementation of vendor integrations using SSO (SAML), RESTful APIs, and other proprietary methods.
• Organize and lead scoping calls with high-profile clients and vendors to align on integration strategies.
• Assign and monitor projects, manage team capacity, and ensure timely delivery.
• Partner with Product Managers and Developers to monitor the health of existing connectivity products and drive innovation.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align team efforts with organizational goals.
• Report on project health and key metrics to executive leadership.
• Identify at-risk projects and proactively mitigate issues.
• Assist Technical Support teams with escalations and provide subject matter expertise.
 

Qualifications
• Proven experience managing technical teams, ideally in a fintech or SaaS environment.

• Strong understanding of integration technologies, including:

• SAML-based SSO (especially IdP-Initiated)

• RESTful APIs

• Web technologies and proprietary connectivity methods

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and support teams.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with developer portals or API management platforms.
• Comfortable managing multiple direct reports. 
• Background in digital banking or financial technology.
