Job description

Corazon Counseling and Wellness, LLC is a mental health private practice located in Poynette, WI, just north of Madison. We are a passionate, growing team that provides high-quality mental health care to youth, teens, and adults. Corazon Counseling and Wellness focuses on creating a supportive environment for clients and clinicians alike, fostering professional growth and well-being. The team is committed to helping clients achieve their personal and mental health goals.

Role Description

This is a part-time, (minimum 15 hours) in-person role for a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Therapist based in Poynette, WI. The therapist will conduct client intake assessments, develop treatment plans, provide individual therapy sessions, and collaborate with clients and their caregivers to address mental health and wellness needs. In-training (APSW, MFT-IT, and LPC-IT) clinicians are encouraged to apply! Additional responsibilities include documenting sessions in a timely manner and attending team meetings. While the role requires in-person sessions at the Poynette office, some remote work may also be available when working with adolescents.ย 

Qualifications

  • Experience providing mental health therapy to individuals (youth, teens, and adults)
  • Ability to build and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with clients
  • Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a therapist (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Commitment to ethical practices and confidentiality standards
  • Experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals is a plus
