What you will do:
  • Support Relationship Managers in all day-to-day client and consultant needs, coordinating with other departments as needed to ensure a timely response and/or follow through.
  • Support client account onboarding, termination, transitions, and other lifecycle events, ensuring compliance with internal firm procedures and collaborating with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the development of client and consultant presentation materials, ensuring accuracy of performance and client-related statistics.
  • Identify and escalate any sensitive client issues to the CEO and Relationship Managers and coordinate a timely response.
  • Work with Operations team to process client cash flow requests.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives that enhance the client experience.
  • Coordinate new client onboarding to the firm's portfolio management and advisory service platform along with those of complementary external asset managers. This includes opening accounts and preparing client documentation.
  • Perform on-going account maintenance including, but not limited to, funds disbursements, ACAT transfers, gifting of securities, and handling client account updates such as investment objective changes.
  • Review client account activity to ensure overall accuracy, proper trade settlement and account reconciliation.
  • Effectively communicate client relationship updates with internal partners.
  • Assist with development and implementation of operational and workflow improvements to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of client service support in order to ensure a high level of client and team member satisfaction.
  • Identify client account and operational issues and seek timely resolution.
  • Prepare client meeting materials and reports for Portfolio Managers.
  • Ensure data accuracy across numerous internal systems and applications.
  • Coordinate with client's attorneys, accountants, and other professionals as needed.
  • Meet all firm policy, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field required.
  • 2-5 years of experience in similar role in private wealth management industry.
  • Demonstrated understanding of complex investment and portfolio management products. Knowledge and experience with alternative investments a plus.
  • Confident ability to interact with high-net-worth individuals.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses required, or willingness to obtain in timely manner.
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills; detail-oriented and highly organized with proactive follow-up skills and strong client focus.
  • Proven ability to work independently and competently handle multiple responsibilities with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced, demanding work environment.
  • Strong capability to work collegially with various internal partners while maintaining a strong sense of accountability to the team.
  • Ability to work with multiple portfolio managers and prioritize tasks while maintaining exceptional service to all clients.
  • Knowledge of bank products a plus.
  • Salesforce experience a plus.

The estimated salary range for this role is $59,000 - $77,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
