Lease Accounting Manager (43016)


Our client, a growing organization, is looking for a Lease Accounting Manager to oversee lease accounting and reporting while partnering across the business to ensure accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage lease accounting and reporting in accordance with ASC 842.
  • Oversee monthly close activities, reconciliations, journal entries, and lease-related reporting.
  • Review new and modified lease agreements and ensure accurate accounting treatment.
  • Maintain lease data and support related accounting systems.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, Legal, and Operations.
  • Support audits, controls, and ongoing process improvements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 842 lease accounting.
  • Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
