Job description

SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday 8am- 4:30pm, On-site 5 days a week
PAY: $50,000-$60,000, determined after interview, based on experience
POSITION SUMMARY:
All Together Recovery LLC (ATR) is a growing, mission-driven organization providing multiple levels of ASAM SUD/BHSO care across our inpatient residential facility, outpatient clinic (Heal Together Counseling Center/HTCC), and recovery housing programs. Through both for-profit and nonprofit environments, ATR is committed to creating pathways to recovery through treatment, education, job training, employment opportunities, and long-term support for the individuals and families we serve.
As we continue to expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lead Bookkeeper to grow with us. This role is essential to the financial health and operational success of the organization and is responsible for collecting, organizing, and accurately inputting financial data related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, client account balances, deposits, vendor contracts, and other key financial records across all ATR entities. This position works collaboratively with leadership, billing, and our CPA to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting while helping support ATR's continued growth and impact in the communities we serve.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Must have QuickBooks experience.
  2. Must have a valid Kentucky driver's license.
  3. Participate in all necessary staff meetings.
  4. Be proficient in all ATR rules, policies, and procedures.
  5. Model servant leadership.
  6. Operate with integrity in all circumstances.
  7. Communicate effectively and be responsive to verbal and written correspondence.
  8. Responsible to answer general questions, take and relay messages on all incoming calls as needed, in a timely manner.
  9. Communicate, engage, and interact with CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and Managing Partners.
  10. Collaborate with Human Resources to recruit, interview, and hire accounting staff as required.
  11. Provide regular maintenance and backup of all accounting systems in collaboration with IT.
  12. Review and ensure application of all internal controls, compliance, and financial procedures.
  13. Supervise Accounts Receivable and provide guidance relating to the collection process.
  14. Manage accounts payable ensuring that all bills are paid in a timely manner.
  15. Oversee record retention and storage of all financial records.
  16. Collaborate with Managing Partner and CEO to set up all online accounts with auto pay.
  17. Manage the purchase order process.
  18. Collaborate with CPA on a weekly basis to ensure payroll is finalized.
  19. Collaborate with admissions to develop client fee collection process.
  20. Manage client cash on hand and canteen books in collaboration with CSM develop a purchasing process for canteen.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
  1. Associates Degree in Accounting
  2. Minimum 5 years experience in accounting, preferably with Residential and Outpatient insurance experience
  3. Must have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
  4. Must have organizational and communications skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Communicate effectively in an oral and written format.
  6. Maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
  7. Must have the ability to work independently, and in a demanding and busy environment.
  8. Must have the ability to multitask and have a proficient handle on completing tasks within an assigned timeframe.
  9. Proficiency in ASAM, AODE, BHSO, CARF, Joint Commission, and other accrediting bodies regulatory standards.
  10. Strong leadership skills, and ability to organize and implement policies and procedures.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Physical Demands:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend, reach overhead and lift to 50 pounds; travel outside the office and/or attend meetings both during and after normal work hours, both at and away from the worksite. May involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Requires about 3 hours of sitting and no more than 5 hours of standing or walking in an 8-hour workday.
Environmental Conditions:
The employee will work indoors in a residential setting with central heating and air conditioning. The facility itself is open and well ventilated. The employee may work outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions during times of community activities for clients.
Mental Demands:
There are several daily deadlines associated with this position, which may cause significant levels of stress for some individuals. The position will work with clients, staff, and family members on a variety of issues.
WORK EXPECTATIONS:
