Position Overview
STARK is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Account Associate to support our sales team and deliver world-class service to our luxury design clientele. This role offers a premier entry point into the luxury interiors industry and is designed as a clear professional pathway toward an Account Manager career.
As a key member of the sales team, the Account Associate serves as the operational backbone, partnering closely with Account Managers to ensure seamless order execution, proactive client service, and efficient showroom operations. By maintaining a high level of accuracy, responsiveness, and professionalism, you will represent the STARK brand and build a strong foundation for long-term growth within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Coordination & Project Management
  • Provide comprehensive support to Account Managers throughout the full sales lifecycle
  • Execute accurate quote preparation, order entry, and proactive follow-up to ensure project timelines are met
  • Serve as a secondary point of contact for clients, responding with urgency and professionalism
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records within the CRM to track project status and client history

Client Excellence
  • Deliver high-touch service to existing clients by providing product knowledge, pricing, and availability
  • Anticipate client needs and coordinate sampling, CFA (Cutting for Approval) requests, and freight quotes
  • Ensure a seamless client experience from initial inquiry through final delivery

Operations & Showroom Support
  • Manage end-to-end order logistics, coordinating with internal operations, design, and warehouse teams
  • Maintain showroom standards, ensuring product displays and samples are organized and presentation-ready
  • Provide coverage for walk-in clients, qualifying opportunities and directing them to the appropriate Account Manager

Growth & Professional Development
  • Actively participate in STARK's product training and sales development programs
  • Develop a strong understanding of product categories, custom capabilities, and the luxury design market
  • Demonstrate increasing autonomy and readiness to take on expanded responsibilities over time

Compensation
This role offers a guaranteed compensation structure designed to support learning, development, and long-term success within STARK. Account Associates are compensated with a competitive base salary and are not eligible for commission or bonus incentives at this stage of the sales career path.
