Experienced Caregiver Needed – Ashland City, TN 37015

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dependable caregiver for a consistent private-home assignment in Ashland City, Tennessee.

? CONSISTENT PART-TIME SCHEDULE

Days: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Hours: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Weekly Hours: Approximately 24 hours

This is an excellent opportunity for a caregiver seeking a dependable schedule and the opportunity to build a meaningful, long-term relationship with one client.

? ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is alert, oriented, independent in decision-making, and able to communicate her needs clearly.

She is recovering from a recent fall and has a medical history that includes:

• Heart failure
• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Left hip replacement
• Pacemaker with a defibrillator
• Six fractured ribs following a fall approximately one month ago

Because of her recent injuries and medical history, she needs a caregiver who is gentle, attentive, patient, safety-conscious, and committed to helping her remain comfortable and independent in her own home.

Consistency, companionship, and caregiver compatibility are especially important for this assignment.

? CARE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with activities of daily living
• Provide safe mobility and personal-care assistance
• Assist with showers on scheduled days
• Prepare breakfast and an early dinner
• Clean the kitchen following meal preparation
• Provide medication reminders
• Complete light housekeeping and laundry
• Vacuum and straighten the home
• Run occasional errands while the client remains safely at home
• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
• Support the client’s comfort, dignity, and independence
• Observe and promptly report changes in the client’s condition
• Complete accurate shift documentation
• Follow the client’s care plan and all Helping Hearts policies

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous professional caregiving experience
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Dependable transportation
• Valid driver’s license
• Current automobile insurance
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to pass required drug screening
• Verifiable employment references and work history
• Dependable, punctual, professional, and consistent
• Clear and respectful communication
• Comfortable using a mobile application for scheduling and documentation
• Ability to follow confidentiality, attendance, safety, and reporting requirements
• Physically capable of safely performing the essential duties of the assignment

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience caring for older adults
• Experience assisting clients with mobility limitations
• Experience supporting clients after falls or injuries
• Experience with personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Calm, patient, compassionate, and easygoing personality
• Ability to maintain a consistent, long-term schedule

Pay varies based on verified caregiving experience, availability, qualifications, certifications, references, and work history.
