Job description


Position Overview and Responsibilities
Perform access control functions at all vehicle and pedestrian entrances to the SCS and/or SSA during hours of operations. These activities include but are not limited to:
  • Screening all workers, vehicles, and equipment entering or exiting the site
  • Denying introduction of prohibited materials such as explosives, weapons, electronic devices, or other items as specified by the SSM, and CSP
  • Conducting random inspections of all site areas to ensure no prohibited materials have been brought on to the site
  • Bringing all suspicious materials or incidents to the attention of the SSM.
  • Monitoring the CCTV and intrusion detection systems
  • Perform other security related duties as required by the SSM such as roving patrols, personnel and vehicle escorts
  • Operation may include 24/7/365 operations to safeguard the construction site and/or facility
Experience and Qualifications Requirements
  • Active US SECRET Security Clearance
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in one or more of the following categories: (1) Construction, (2) Facility Sustainment Operations, (3) ICD-705 Construction Site Security, (4) US Government/Military Physical Security, (5) Access Control, or (6) Technical Surveillance.
  • Must hold a valid certificate for the successful completion of a twenty-four (24) Hours or greater Cleared American Guard training course. With Site Security Management approval, individual CSA's may be deployed to the project without the CSA Certificate if they are to be trained and certified on this project with the training course required. CAG's shall not perform in a 'stand-alone' post (i.e. they will be the 2nd CAG of a 2 CAG post) until certified through the CAG training course.
  • Must be able to perform the following physical activity for expensive periods of time. Physical activity includes stand, sit, bend, walk, kneel, and other related physical activities

  • Knowledgeable of and demonstrates ability to apply Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) classification guidelines and procedures ICD/ICS-705.
Additional Requirements
  • All contractor personnel are required to wear a company uniform. Company uniforms shall be distinct, company standard with a company logo, person's nametag, flashlight and radios.
  • All contractor personnel shall have Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) associated with construction projects, complete safety training/briefing as required by general contractor on site who is responsible for enforcing safety regulations for the project. PPE to include but not limited to properly worn hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, footwear, and outerwear as appropriate for anticipated weather condition.
  • Access to DIA SCI networks requires the successful completion of a CI Polygraph.
  • All contractor personnel performing work under BPA/SOW must comply with all applicable Federal, DoD, and DIA directives, instructions and standard operating procedures while providing contract support to DIA, including accessing and handling government information as part of this contract. DoD, ICD and DIA Directives, Instructions and Publications as referenced in the DD-254 and Security Addendum.
