Job description

Role and Responsibilities


  • Must be able to clean residential and business locations, including mopping and vacuuming floors, cleaning surfaces high and low, windows, emptying trash, washing walls, washing rags and mop heads daily after each clean, and emptying vacuum cleaner and cleaning filters.

  • Occasionally completing laundry tasks for rental properties

  • Ensuring quality meets standards with every assigned job

  • Comply with safety policies and procedures; report any concerns

  • Perform work with a team or individual

  • Perform repetitive tasks

  • Examples of tasks include, but not limited to:

Dusting, emptying trash, bathrooms, windows, sinks, appliances, cleaning lobbies, conference rooms, locker rooms, break rooms, restock cleaning supplies to the kit, remove cobwebs, use of step stool/ladder. Cleaning up anything that is necessary to get the job done.


Qualifications and Education Requirements

Requirements include ability to pass a background test. Must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license and car insurance. Must have a smart phone with the capability to download the business application. Must be a team player, energetic, pleasant, professional and love to clean. Must be prompt and reliable. Must be eager to learn and give 100% all the time. Must be able to multi-task while paying attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the ability to follow directions and pay close attention to detail is a must. Must understand safety requirements, company handbook expectations, and comply with attendance policy. Ability to change tasks or assignments outside normal duties. Flexibility and dependability is a must. Must be able to read, speak and write English. Must be comfortable working around pets of all kinds. Must be able to understand one's own physical limitations to the extent necessary to perform the necessary functions and tasks of the job including standing, walking, sitting, squatting, kneeling, bending, push/pulling up to 20 lbs and the use of hands to finger, handle, rub, grip, and feel, reach above shoulder, and grasp with hands and arms, climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust and focus 100%. Exposure to all outside weather conditions. Inside noise level is usually quiet to moderate.


Preferred Skills

Previous cleaning experience is a plus but not required. Knowledge of workplace safety.


Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to normal weather conditions for the area. While performing the duties of this job, may be working around clients, customers and/or pets. Travel between assigned jobs is mostly by motorized vehicle or sometimes by foot. Masks/Ventilation Protection and/or gloves are not required, but may be worn when using chemicals.
