Commercial Plumber (Start ASAP) 56+ hours every week

Job Details

  • You will be working on new construction commercial projects
  • Must have experience soldering, brazing and reading blueprints
  • Pay is $30 to $32 an hour to start based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform plumbing installations on commercial and multifamily apartment projects from rough-in to finish.
  • Install, repair, and maintain piping systems using cast iron, PVC, copper, and related materials.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute plumbing layouts.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to cut, assemble, and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
  • Perform soldering and brazing work as needed to complete plumbing connections.
  • Coordinate daily tasks and workflow to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards.
  • Inspect completed work to verify compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing installation issues as they arise on site.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper care and storage of tools and equipment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe work environment for all team members on site.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial plumbing, including work on multifamily apartment projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret plumbing blueprints and construction drawings independently.
  • Hands-on experience working with cast iron, PVC, and copper piping systems.
  • Proficiency using hand tools and power tools for plumbing installation and repair.
  • Skilled in soldering and brazing for plumbing connections.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing installation practices in a construction environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
