Hospitality Concessions

Position Information
  • Entry Level: $14/hr - $15/hr
  • Hours Per Week: Varies based on-campus events
  • Location: All Campus Concession
  • Customer Service, Kitchen and concession experience preferred but not required

The schedule will vary based on events, including evenings and weekends.

Position Description

The National Sports Center is looking for an energetic, self-motivated individual with an outgoing personality, hard work ethic, a clean/neat and professional appearance, and can provide excellent customer service. This individual will be a representation of the National Sports Center

Position Responsibilities
  • Greeting customers
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Taking, assembling, and presenting food orders
  • Operating a cash register and requesting/receiving payment from customers
  • Cooking and preparing food - standing and constant moving
  • Assist in various food areas to ensure food and concessions are being prepared and packaged properly, and being delivered to the customer in a timely manner
  • Stocking concessions trailers and/or food or vendor stands
  • Assist in inventory counts to help with proper stock and rotation
  • Cleaning in accordance with the National Sports Center sanitary standards Associate will be trained in multiple areas within the concessions and catering position
Position Qualifications
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to lift/pull/push/move/carry up to 25 pounds and the ability to stand for long periods of time in a fast-paced environment
  • With training, ability to operate kitchen and concessions equipment such as popcorn popper, hotdog machine, kitchen ovens, etc.
  • Experience preferred but not necessary
