Job description

The Dry-Cleaning Associate is responsible for repetitively and manually maneuvering wheeled bins of soiled dry-cleaning product into and out of dry-cleaning machines. Processing of cleaned dry cleaning product towards the next step in the processing.
Essential Duties:
  • Participates in all aspects of processing of all completed dry cleaning products, through the use of manual labor and computerized software.
  • Ability to learn and utilize industry-specific software.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Identify areas of deficit or concern within the Dry-Cleaning Department.
  • Report areas of deficit or concern to the management in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
  • Flexible, with high energy and a positive work ethic.
  • Ability to follow and carry out instructions, as directed.
  • Knowledge of computers, or the ability to learn how to use them.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent pace and meet production expectations.
  • Ability to organize workflow, manage time, and participate as a team member.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Keen sense of urgency and attention to details.
  • Willingness to work in any department within the plant, based upon business needs.
  • Capable of working in a warehouse environment where temperatures fluctuate and will often be elevated, due to the processing of laundry and dry cleaning.
