Substitute Cleaner- Scarsdale Public Schools
DESCRIPTION: Perform routine cleaning duties and does related work as required.
REQUIREMENTS: Familiarity with building cleaning supplies and equipment. Must have the ability to understand and follow simple written and oral directions.
Work can include but not limited to the following:
• sweep and mop floors
• wash windows, blackboards, and lavatory fixtures
• dust woodwork, furniture, and other articles
• replenishes lavatory supplies
• strip and wax floors
• vacuum carpets
• replaces light bulbs
• shovel snow
• sets temperature controls (thermostats) as assigned
It is our expectation that you be on call and available to sub 75% of the time when we reach out to you with an assignment.
