Cura of Willmar is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and resident-focused PM Dietary Aide to join our Dining Services team! As a PM Dietary Aide, you'll work alongside a supportive team to provide exceptional meal service while helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. Every shift offers the opportunity to positively impact the lives of our residents through quality service and compassionate care.

Position Summary

The PM Dietary Aide assists with evening meal preparation, tray service, resident meal service, dishwashing, sanitation, and kitchen cleaning while ensuring all meals are served safely, accurately, and according to resident diet orders. This position helps maintain a clean, organized, and resident-centered dining environment while supporting food safety standards and excellent customer service.

Essential Responsibilities Meal Preparation & Service
  • Prepare and serve evening meals according to menus and resident diet orders.
  • Ensure meals are served accurately and on time.
  • Follow portion sizes and therapeutic diet guidelines.
  • Serve meals with a friendly, respectful, and resident-focused attitude.
  • Assist with snacks and nourishments as assigned.
Food Safety
  • Check and document food temperatures throughout meal service.
  • Maintain proper hot and cold food holding temperatures.
  • Reheat meals appropriately when needed to ensure resident satisfaction and food safety.
  • Follow all sanitation, infection prevention, and food safety regulations.
  • Practice proper hand hygiene and glove use throughout meal service.
Kitchen Cleaning & Dishwashing
  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas, dining areas, and food preparation surfaces.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
  • Empty trash and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Assist with closing duties at the end of the shift.
Resident Service
  • Deliver excellent customer service to residents during meal service.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to resident requests.
  • Communicate meal concerns or resident needs with nursing staff as appropriate.
  • Help create a positive dining experience for every resident.
Teamwork
  • Work collaboratively with dietary, nursing, housekeeping, and other departments.
  • Assist coworkers as needed to ensure efficient meal service.
  • Participate in department meetings and ongoing education.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, or healthcare experience is preferred.
