Waterpark Third Shift Cleaner
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Third Shift Cleaner. In this role, you will be responsible for the cleaning of equipment and all general areas in the waterpark during closing and after hours and is expected to maintain a high level of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the Waterpark, pools, shower areas, and bathrooms.
As part of our team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.
*** Position starting as early as September. ***
Pay Rate - $18 - $19/Hr.
Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness of all general areas within the Waterpark, cabanas and restrooms during closing and after hours.
  • Being alert and regularly inspecting restrooms and general areas for any hazards or safety risks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in public restrooms.
  • Washdown of walkways, restroom floors and general areas of the Waterpark.
  • Physical stamina and endurance to perform duties in an active, high-energy environment.

What We're Looking For
  • Previous custodial, housekeeping, janitorial, environmental services, or commercial cleaning experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work overnight/third shift, including weekends, holidays, and varying schedules based on operational needs.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to identify and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, and operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively managing time and completing assigned tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Must be 18 years of age at date of hire.

Work Environment
  • This job operates in an active and loud environment.
  • Candidate must be comfortable with frequent changes in the environment temperature.
  • Candidate must be able to work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions.

Physical Demands
  • Must be able to move throughout the waterpark frequently.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work.
  • Must be able to walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to handle exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 50 pounds of force frequently.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually high.
  • Regularly requires evening, overnight, and weekend work.
