Job description

Office Manager – The Maids of Omaha

Make a difference every day — for your team and your customers.

Are you a highly organized, people-centered professional who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? The Maids of Omaha — a family-owned local business serving the community for over 45 years — is seeking a dependable, proactive Office Manager to help lead our day-to-day operations and keep everything running smoothly.

This is a dynamic role that requires wearing many hats: scheduling, customer service, HR coordination, and operational oversight. You’ll be the hub between our office, our cleaning teams, and our clients — making sure everyone feels supported and things get done right.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

· Plan, direct, and coordinate the daily schedule of cleaning teams.

· Create efficient routes and schedules based on customer needs, workload, and employee availability.

· Monitor day-to-day activity and proactively solve issues as they arise.

· Provide warm, responsive customer service and ensure satisfaction.

· Answer phones and respond promptly to inquiries.

Administration

· Manage invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

· Enter daily results and updates into company systems.

· Support owner/management with reporting and record-keeping.

Human Resources

· Coordinate recruiting, screening, and onboarding of new employees.

· Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies.

· Assist with payroll data entry and HR documentation.

· Help foster a positive, team-oriented work culture consistent with The Maids’ values.

Customer & Sales Support

· Communicate with customers about services, schedules, and availability.

· Assist with marketing and outreach efforts (email, phone, digital, or print).

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

· 3+ years of office or operations management experience, ideally in a service-based business.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — professional, tactful, and empathetic.

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; comfortable managing constant movement and change.

· Solid computer skills, including MS Office Suite and general data entry systems.

· Bilingual English/Spanish a strong plus.

· Valid driver’s license required.

Why The Maids

The Maids of Omaha has been family owned and operated since 1979. We take pride in our long-term employees and loyal customer base — many of our team members have been with us for over a decade. We believe that great customer service starts with a supportive, respectful workplace.

If you’re looking for a stable, family-oriented company where your work truly matters, we’d love to meet you.
