Industrial Equipment Cleaner

Location: Detroit, MI
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: $18/hr
Job Summary
Are you looking for a hands-on opportunity in an industrial environment? We are seeking an Industrial Equipment Cleaner to support warehouse operations by cleaning, detailing, and preparing industrial machinery for inspection and presentation.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys working around industrial equipment in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Industrial Equipment Cleaner, your core responsibilities will include:
• Clean and detail industrial machinery including mills, lathes, grinders, robots, compressors, CNC machines, drives, conveyors, welders, and other production equipment
• Remove dust, oil, grease, cutting fluids, rust scale, and shop debris using approved cleaning products and methods
• Blow out cabinets and hard-to-reach areas with compressed air while following safety procedures
• Wipe down and detail equipment to achieve presentation-ready appearance for photography and inspection
• Dispose of debris, rags, and waste materials according to warehouse and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all PPE and safety procedures while working around industrial equipment
• Assist with additional warehouse and equipment preparation tasks as assigned
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
• Previous industrial, warehouse, janitorial, detailing, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Comfortable working around industrial machinery and equipment
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions
