Job description

Possess a passion for children and exercise patience with them. 
Primary Responsibilities listed below, but not limited to: 

  1. Provides support to teacher with activities and instruction
  2. Help keep learning areas tidy and safe
  3. Provide a welcoming, inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
  4. work in small groups or one-on-one with students in the classroom to reinforce instructional material.
  5. Instruct students in proper classroom procedures and behavior
  6. Follow lesson plan in lead teacher’s absence
  7. Assist with serving meals, changing diapers writing daily reports, recording attendance, engaging in play, assisting to put children to sleep, and creating a safe environment
  8. Keep appearance of children neat and clean
  9. Assist in the daily cleaning and disinfecting of classroom and toys
  10. Hybrid Responsibilities (filling in as assistance in other classrooms)
  11. All miscellaneous items pertaining to the classroom
