Commercial Cleaner - Multiple Shifts Available
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46202
Start Date: August 1, 2026 (Training may begin a few days prior to the official start date.)
Available Shifts:
Day Porter: 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Mid Shift: 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Evening Shift: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Job Summary
Clean Team Inc. is expanding and hiring dependable Commercial Cleaners for a new middle school
account opening in Indianapolis. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team from the very beginning
and help establish a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment for students, faculty, and visitors.
We are currently hiring for multiple shifts, including a full-day porter position as well as afternoon and
evening cleaning opportunities. Whether you prefer working during the day or after school hours, we
have a schedule that may fit your availability.
If you are dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working independently while making a visible

Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, and common areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas

Empty trash and replace liners
Clean and disinfect desks, doors, handrails, and other high-touch surfaces
Replenish restroom supplies as needed
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
Report maintenance concerns or supply needs to management
Complete assigned tasks thoroughly and efficiently
Day Porter Responsibilities
In addition to routine cleaning duties, the Day Porter helps maintain the facility throughout the school
day by responding to cleaning requests, monitoring restrooms and common areas, assisting with spills
or unexpected cleaning needs, and helping ensure the building remains clean, safe, and presentable
while occupied.
Qualifications
Previous commercial cleaning or custodial experience is preferred but not required
Ability to work independently and stay organized
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable transportation
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Ability to lift, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be willing to complete a criminal background check
Drug screening and customer-specific requirements may apply at certain facilities
