Business Unit Description:
The Quality Assurance business unitis responsible forensuring all products meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements. The team supports manufacturing operations by performing inspections, managing nonconformances, and driving continuous improvement to ensure product reliability and on-time delivery

Job Title/High-Level Position Summary:

The QualityControlTechnicianassistsQuality Engineering, with inspection activities andkey quality system activities. This role supports Quality Assurance personnel to ensure compliance with quality system regulations and contributes to business and continuous improvement initiatives.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and persistent in following up to ensure actions are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop inspection sheets for implants, instruments, and associated components
  • Draft first article inspection sheets for incoming inspection
  • Develop overlays for optical comparators
  • Write and route Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
  • Run, analyze, and publish reports related to site quality metrics
  • Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections
  • Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements
  • Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment
  • Support calibration activities andmaintainequipment traceability
  • Apply statistical techniques including SPC, Cp, andCpk
  • Utilize quality tools such as Pareto charts, control charts, and histograms
  • Support structured problem-solving efforts (5 Whys, 8D, RCA)
  • Manage nonconforming material andparticipatein Material Review Board (MRB) activities
  • Support internal and external audits and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of2years of related experience and/or training
  • Demonstrated ability to use computers effectively, including strong working knowledge ofMicrosoft
  • Proficiencyin mechanical inspection techniques and inspection equipment
  • Experience tracking tasks, actions, or projects and following up to completion
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written and verbalEnglish

Travel Requirements:

  • Up to 10% of travel may berequired.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Associate or bachelor'sdegree in engineering, science, or a related technical field (preferred but notrequired)
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device experience is a plus)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks and overlay creation/printing

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
  • Must be able tostandlong periodsof time.
  • Must be able to bend,twistand lift overhead.
  • Must be able to pack & unpack boxes.
