Job description

We're looking for an individual who embodies the luxury lifestyle experience. An ideal Thompson team member has a passion for creating unique experiences, that can quickly perpetuate a culture of great design and superlative service, with a sharp sense of humor. This candidate will have a passion for exceptional hotel service and who can express that belief in an atmosphere of spontaneity and authenticity. The Overnight House person is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel, including guest hallways, elevator landings, and linen closets. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push a heavy amount of weight on a consistent basis.

  • Keeps the service landings clean and organized.
  • Removes trays from the guest floors.
  • Keeps corridors on guest room floors clean.
  • Maintain cleanliness of stairwells.
  • Baseboards and pictures in guest corridors must be dusted daily.
  • All guest room doors must be free of scuff marks.
  • Keeps ice machine room clean.
  • Keep guest elevator landings clean.
  • Moves furniture upon request.
  • Completes guest requests.
  • Have a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure hotel guests and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment.
  • Ensures that assigned service landing closets are stocked at proper linen and supply par levels.

  • All other duties as assigned by leadership

       Candidate must have open availability including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

       Must have good communication skills.

       Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances.

       Must be able to bend, stoop and climb.
