Duties

  • Safely operate commercial trucks with MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS across designated routes, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Transport freight efficiently using various trailer types such as tanker, or specialized equipment like roll-off trailers.
  • Load and unload cargo accurately.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards.
  • Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and freight delivery records in accordance with federal regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or any issues encountered on the road.
  • Manage route driving responsibilities with professionalism, ensuring timely deliveries while prioritizing safety at all times.

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience for freight transportation.
